Bespoke Exhibition Stands

we create stands as unique as your brand.

Our bespoke exhibition stand design service starts with a blank page and your objectives: the visitors you want to attract, the products you need to show, the conversations you want your space to start. Then we design, build and install a stand shaped entirely around them.

Bespoke design, built the smarter way

When people picture custom exhibition stands, they often imagine one-off timber constructions: built for a single show, broken up afterwards, and skipped.

We do bespoke differently. Every stand we design is unique to you. The layout, the heights, the features, the graphics and the lighting are all shaped around your brand and your brief. But underneath, the structure is engineered on the beMatrix frame system, the leading platform for sustainable event building.

The frames are precision aluminium, endlessly reconfigurable, and completely invisible in the finished stand. Some in the industry call this approach custom-modular; we just call it the right way to build.

The result is bespoke exhibition stand design and build with none of the traditional drawbacks. You get all the design freedom of a one-off construction, and a stand that can be rebuilt, resized and restyled for your next show rather than rebuilt from scratch on your next invoice.

Custom exhibition stand design, from brief to show floor

It starts with a discovery call to understand your objectives, budget and stand space. Initial concepts follow within 5 working days with a free 3D visual, and the agreed design becomes comprehensive CAD renders for sign-off: finishes, graphics, AV, lighting and visitor flow all resolved before production.

Our in-house team builds, prints and quality-checks every element, and our own crews deliver the finished custom exhibition stand assembled and ready before doors open.

The only limit to the stand design is your imagination; recent designs have included double-height structures, rigged overhead branding, enclosed meeting rooms, backlit fabric walls, LED video walls, integrated product displays and hidden storage. If your brief calls for it and the venue allows it, we can design it.

An Exhibition Stand Builder You Can Rely On

Bespoke Exhibition Stand FAQs

What is bespoke exhibition stand design?

It means the stand is designed from scratch around your brand, objectives and floor space, rather than adapted from a standard kit or template. Layout, structure, graphics, lighting and features are all specified for you, so the finished stand is unique to your business.

Yes. The beMatrix frames are the engineering underneath, not the design. They sit invisibly behind your graphics and finishes, the way a steel frame sits behind a building. What visitors see is a one-off stand designed for your brand; what you avoid is the waste and cost of single-use construction.

Every Mercer stand is supplied on a hire basis: we design and build your stand, install it at the venue and hand it over ready for the show, then dismantle and collect it afterwards. You get a fully custom design without ever owning, storing or transporting hardware, and the structure returns to stock for reuse rather than to a skip.

That is one of the biggest advantages of how we build. Because the structure is modular underneath, the same stand can be reconfigured for a different floor space, expanded for a flagship show or scaled down for a regional one, with graphics updated as your messaging changes.

Initial concepts typically arrive within 5 working days of a clear brief. For the full journey from brief to show floor, 3 to 6 months is comfortable for a complex custom build, though we regularly deliver on much tighter timelines, so it is always worth asking.

Any space-only plot can take a bespoke design, from compact 3×3 spaces to large island sites. The design simply scales to the floor space and the budget; smaller plots often benefit most, because clever design does the work that square metres otherwise would.

Yes. Enclosed meeting rooms, hidden storage, rigged overhead features and double-deck structures are all regular parts of our bespoke work, subject to venue approval for the larger structural elements, which we arrange.

Yes. A bespoke design is created for your brand and your brief, and we do not reuse one client’s design for another. When the stand returns to stock, it is the components that get reused, not your design.

That is the point of bespoke. Colours, typography, materials and tone are worked from your brand guidelines, and because print is produced in-house, colour accuracy is checked against your spec before anything leaves production.

Yes, twice. A free 3D visual of the stand comes with your quote, so you can judge the concept before committing, and comprehensive CAD renders are signed off before production, so the stand that arrives on site is the one you approved.
