




Last month, the Mercer Exhibitions & Events team returned to ICE Totally Gaming to deliver an exhibition stand for Fincore — and what a project it was.
This marked our second year working with Fincore, a relationship built on collaboration, creativity, and a shared ambition to make a real impact on the show floor. For 2026, the brief was clear: reflect Fincore’s brand evolution and communicate their powerful new message.

Turning a Clear Message into a Stand-Out Concept
Fincore’s refreshed branding is bold, confident, and focused on clarity. The challenge was to translate this into a physical space that not only looked the part but also engaged visitors in a memorable way.
Our team took the “Clean Code” message and added a creative spin.
Instead of simply stating the message through graphics and copy, we brought it to life by developing a bespoke, Pac-Man-style arcade game in-house. The twist? The main character was Fincore’s logo — navigating the screen and “eating” the dirty code.
The result was a playful, interactive experience that:
- Reinforced the Clean Code message in a visual and engaging way
- Drew visitors onto the stand
- Sparked conversations with both existing and prospective clients
- Added a layer of fun to a highly competitive exhibition environment.
It’s a perfect example of how experiential elements can elevate a stand from visually impressive to truly unforgettable.
Listening First, Creating Second
At Mercer, we pride ourselves on listening carefully to our clients’ objectives before developing ideas. In Fincore’s case, the direction was clear — a stronger, cleaner brand presence with a message that cut through the noise at ICE.
From spatial layout and branding execution through to the interactive game feature, every element was designed to support that central narrative.
John Chrwisky, Head of Marketing at Fincore, shared his thoughts after the event:
“We had so many compliments on our stand this year. Hats off to Brenton and the Mercer team. I feel you really listened to the brief and then came up with some great ideas to bring it to life. The branded Pac-Man style game brought smiles to a lot of faces.”

ICE Totally Gaming is one of the most important events in the gaming calendar, and standing out requires more than good design — it requires bold thinking and seamless delivery.
